HOBAS Tunnel drainageystemen

One important aspect of pipes used in tunnels is their degree of inflammability. The HOBAS GRP Process allows to design pipes with special constituents which significantly reduce the fire hazard in tunnels. Also the high content of hardly combustible mineral constituents (e.g. glass fibers, mineral reinforming material) reduces the danger of fire.

The high contents of minerals diluted in the ground water very often lead to incrustations on the pipe surface resulting in a loss of hydraulic properties. HOBAS GRP Pipes Systems are specially equipped with a liner resin creating a smooth and glossy pipe surface without tendency to bond mineral deposits.
